Forefront Cares
At Forefront, we believe in making a positive impact beyond the walls of our facilities. Our dedication to social responsibility is embodied through our non-profit 501(c)(3), Forefront Cares, which focuses on two main pillars: giving to our communities and giving to our associates.
Social responsibility is not just a commitment—it’s a core value that drives our mission to create a better, more supportive world for both our communities and our associates. Together, we strive to make a lasting difference, one act of kindness at a time.
Strengthening Our Communities
Through Forefront Cares, we are deeply committed to enhancing the well-being of the communities we serve. Our team actively engages in volunteer efforts with local organizations, such as Gleaners, the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, and a variety of Detroit’s soup kitchens. These partnerships enable us to address food insecurity, environmental conservation, and support for those in need, fostering a sense of better living and purpose within our community.
Investing In Our Team Members
We understand that our team members are the heart of Forefront. The Forefront Foundation is our unique initiative that supports our team members during times of need. Through a rolling donation program, employees can contribute a portion of their paycheck to a collective fund. This fund is dedicated to providing financial assistance to colleagues facing unforeseen hardships, ensuring that we take care of each other as a family.
Diversity & Inclusion
At Forefront, diversity and inclusion are not just business strategies—they are integral to our identity. We strongly believe that a diverse and inclusive environment fosters innovation and collaboration, benefits our associates, clients, and customers, and helps us deliver positive business outcomes.
This approach enables us to build a highly skilled workforce that reflects our diverse client and customer base, allowing us to provide innovative products and services.
Forefront’s Diversity Council
Established in 2023, Forefront’s Diversity Council is dedicated to guiding our organization in fostering a diverse and inclusive culture and advocates for meaningful cultural changes that support our DEI efforts. We are committed to promoting a workplace where every individual feels they truly belong.
At Forefront, we also support employee resource groups (ERGs) to create a welcoming environment for associates who share common identities. These groups provide mutual support, helping build a strong community and sense of belonging. Through our ERG programs, members receive organizational backing and direct access to decision-makers, empowering them to make a real impact.
Diverse Vendor Partnerships
At Forefront, our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) extends to our supplier partnerships. We proudly collaborate with Truly Good Foods, a women-owned business, supporting gender diversity and empowering women entrepreneurs. Our partnership with GFS further enhances this commitment, providing access to a network of minority-owned and women-owned businesses. These collaborations help us meet diverse customer needs while promoting underrepresented groups. By prioritizing these relationships, we strengthen our supply chain and contribute to a more equitable business environment, delivering innovative and diverse products to our clients and customers.
