Boutique support services company recognized for extensive national growth since founding in 2019

St. Clair Shores, Mich. – After being named to Inc.’s Best Workplaces list in June, Forefront has received yet another accolade from the world’s most trusted business-media brand, ranking No. 846 on the 2024 Inc. 5000, which recognizes the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America.

The Inc. 5000 class of 2024 represents companies that have driven rapid revenue growth while navigating
inflationary pressure, the rising costs of capital, and seemingly intractable hiring challenges.

Founded in 2019, Forefront is a specialized support services company, providing dining and nutrition,
environmental services, and facility management solutions to clients in the senior living, healthcare,
education, and government sectors. Forefront ranks as the 18th company in Michigan to land on the list, 13th
in the Detroit-Warren-Dearborn area, and 75th in the nation for Health Services.

“When we founded Forefront, we hadn’t imagined that we’d experience such fierce growth in our first five years
of business,” said Dan Bowen, Co-Founder and CEO of Forefront. “With our services existing in some of the
spaces most heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, we faced some extensive adversity in our 12
months. But, that adversity was ultimately a unifier for our team, and I’ll continue to express my appreciation
and gratitude for the way we responded and continue to deliver on our promise of better living.”

“Being named to the Inc. 5000 reflects the hard work, dedication, and innovative spirit of our entire team. We
are honored to be recognized among America’s fastest-growing private companies and are excited about the
future as we continue to push boundaries and drive growth,” said Ryan Williams, Co-Founder and COO of
Forefront.

Companies on the 2024 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2020 to 2023. To
qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2020. They must be U.S.-
based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of
December 31, 2023. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum
revenue required for 2020 is $100,000; the minimum for 2023 is $2 million. Growth rates used to determine
company rankings were calculated to four decimal places.

“One of the greatest joys of my job is going through the Inc. 5000 list,” says Mike Hofman, who recently joined
Inc. as editor-in-chief. “To see all of the intriguing and surprising ways that companies are transforming
sectors, from health care and AI to apparel and pet food, is fascinating for me as a journalist and storyteller.
Congratulations to this year’s honorees, as well, for growing their businesses fast despite the economic
disruption we all faced over the past three years, from supply chain woes to inflation to changes in the
workforce.”

Forefront was recognized earlier this year as an Inc. Best Workplaces for the first time, and one of Modern
Healthcare’s Best Places To Work for the third consecutive year.
