As Chief Financial Officer, Jared Hughes leads the finance, accounting, contract, and procurement initiatives for Forefront. His expertise has helped Forefront drive financial efficiencies and provided improved visibility throughout the organization.
Hughes spent the first ten years of his career with an international healthcare support services company, rising from an entry-level accounting position to becoming a partner and leading the organization as CFO for four years. Hughes then went on to lead a consulting firm providing incremental CFO support. This diverse experience across multiple industries and company stages helped shape Hughes’ approach to starting and building organizational infrastructure and delivered results for clients’ company acquisitions, including an acquisition by a Fortune 500 company. Hughes’ experience and expertise, combined with his unique approach to problem-solving, have been instrumental in Forefront’s success and continue to prepare Forefront for future growth.
Hughes is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University with a degree in Finance & Economics and lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and three children. The family’s evenings and weekends are filled with kids’ activities, which both parents have enjoyed coaching.
