Kristen Azzarello serves as the Senior Vice President, Culinary Service Excellence, where she leads culinary program implementation and operational initiatives across senior living communities. She focuses on strengthening engagement among associates, residents, and clients while ensuring regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and service excellence.
With more than 30 years of leadership experience in foodservice operations across acute care and senior living, Kristen brings deep expertise in operations, safety, team development, and client satisfaction.
Most recently, Kristen served as a Vice President-level safety leader at Cura Hospitality where she developed and led a comprehensive safety program across acute care and senior living operations. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Operations for Allegheny Health Network, overseeing multi-site operations, managing a budget of more than $43 million, and leading initiatives to improve resident satisfaction and operational performance.
Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh and completed the UPMC Talent Management Leadership Development Intensive Program.
A proud Pennsylvanian, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family, biking, golfing, reading, and cheering on Pittsburgh sports teams.
