Marissa Murphy has been at the forefront of Clinical Nutrition & Wellness at Forefront since its inception, leading with a focus on clinical standards, regulatory compliance, wellness initiatives, and program innovation. She advocates for the pivotal role of Registered Dietitians in healthcare and fosters collaboration between clinical and culinary teams.

With over a decade as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Murphy has held various leadership roles in acute care and long-term care facilities, enriching her expertise in nutritional management. She earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition with a concentration in Dietetics from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Her Dietetic Internship was completed at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA.

Marissa is dedicated to enhancing patient and resident nutritional status and clinical outcomes through a “food first” philosophy in health and nutrition. She emphasizes an elevated dining experience and provides support and mentorship to Registered Dietitians, promoting patient-centered care.

Outside of work, Marissa finds joy in traveling, reading, socializing with friends and family, and running along the lakefront trail of Lake Michigan in her hometown of Chicago.
